Cookie policy
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. This policy describes which cookies SmartKidZone uses, and what for.
Effective from: August 3, 2026
1. What we ask consent for
We sort cookies into three groups. Strictly necessary cookies keep track of your cart and your sign-in, and protect forms against abuse — the shop is unusable without them, so they cannot be switched off, and the law requires no consent for them, only information. Statistical cookies tell us how many people visit the shop and how useful each page is. Marketing cookies measure the results of our advertising, and make up the audience we later show offers to.
Statistical and marketing cookies require prior consent, so they are not placed in your browser at all until you allow them. On the banner at the bottom of the page you can reject both with a single click, and under „Settings" you can decide about them separately. Your decision is valid for a year; after that we ask again — and we also ask again if a new tracking code is added to the shop in the meantime.
There is one exception: the base version of the Barion Pixel. It is not there for measurement but to filter out card fraud, and the payment provider requires it of every merchant. Fraud prevention rests on legitimate interest, so we do not ask for consent here — in return, the pixel collects no data for advertising on our site.
2. Who sees the data
Statistical and marketing cookies are not read by us but by the providers whose code we embedded. These companies act as independent controllers or as processors: their own policies apply to them, and some of the data may be transferred outside the European Union — typically to the United States — under an adequacy decision of the European Commission or under standard contractual clauses.
To withdraw your consent, delete the cookies in your browser — the banner will then appear again and you can decide anew.
- Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics 4 (statistics) and Google Ads (marketing)
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — Meta Pixel (marketing)
- Sendinblue SAS (Brevo) — newsletter and visit measurement (marketing)
- Barion Payment Zrt. — Barion Pixel, fraud prevention (strictly necessary)
3. External content
At checkout, the carrier's embedded map can be opened to select a pickup point. This map loads only if you click it — if you choose a pickup point from the list, your browser makes no external request at all. Once loaded, the provider may set its own cookies, governed by its own policy.
Card payment takes place on the payment provider's site, where that provider's policy applies.
4. How to delete cookies
You can review, delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Do not be surprised if your cart empties or you are signed out afterwards: the shop relies on these cookies, and blocking them prevents shopping from working properly.
